These Jalapeño Cheddar Turkey Burgers are a flavorful twist on a classic burger. Made with lean ground turkey, fresh jalapeño, cilantro, garlic, and plenty of cheddar cheese, they’re juicy, cheesy, and have just the right amount of heat.

They’re perfect for summer cookouts, weeknight dinners, or anytime you’re craving something a little different. Top them with melted cheddar, crisp lettuce, and fresh tomato, then serve with your favorite sides for an easy meal everyone will love.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, diced onion, cilantro, garlic, jalapeño, cumin, paprika, lime juice, shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Gently mix everything together until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat. Divide the mixture into six equal portions and shape each into a burger patty.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for 6–7 minutes per side, or until they’re cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F. If needed, cook the burgers in batches and keep the finished patties warm in a 300°F oven while the remaining burgers cook.

As the burgers finish cooking, preheat the oven to 300°F. Arrange the hamburger buns, cut-side up, on a baking sheet and place a slice of cheddar cheese on one half of each bun. Toast the buns in the oven for about 5 minutes, just until they’re lightly golden and the cheese is melted.

To serve, place each turkey burger on a toasted bun and top with crisp lettuce and fresh tomato slices. Serve warm with your favorite sides and enjoy!

These Jalapeño Cheddar Turkey Burgers are juicy, cheesy, and packed with fresh flavor, making them a delicious alternative to traditional beef burgers. Whether you’re serving them at a backyard barbecue or for an easy weeknight dinner, they’re sure to be a hit.

Happy Cooking!
