Forget beef patties – these scallop sliders are about to become your new favorite handheld treat. Sweet, tender scallops get a perfect sear and nestle into soft Kings Hawaiian rolls with a zesty lime-paprika mayo that adds just the right kick.
The combination is simple but incredible: buttery scallops, fresh basil, crisp slaw, and ripe tomato slices all come together in one perfect bite. These sliders taste like they came from a fancy restaurant but are surprisingly easy to make at home.
Perfect for dinner parties, date nights, or when you want to treat yourself to something special. Ready to make these crowd-pleasing bites?

Start by combining the mayonnaise, garlic, lime juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl, then set aside. Prep the rest of your ingredients; slice the tomato into 4 slices and slice the rolls in half.
Melt 2 Tbsp of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the scallops and season with salt and pepper. Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Hopefully you can find large scallops at your local grocery store but if not, you can use smaller scallops and add more than one to each slider. Cook as many as you need to make your sliders.
While the scallops are cooking, melt the remaining Tbsp of butter on a grilled. Place the rolls, cut side down, on the melted butter and let them toast for a few minutes. You can then remove from the heat and set aside.
When the scallops are done, you are ready to assemble. Spread the aioli on each side of the rolls. Divide the slaw (or lettuce) between each roll, placing on the bottom half. Top with sliced tomato and a basil leaf. Add 1 scallop (or more if using smaller scallops) and cover with the top half of the rolls.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
