You can always give a little taste and add more but you can’t take away and it is quite strong. A little goes a long way. You don’t want the flavor to be too overpowering.
Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to overnight.
Once chilled, pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer instructions. When close to being done, add the chopped pistachios and rose petals and churn until evenly distributed.
Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4-6 hours or until your desired consistency is reached.
